- Work on this supertrail started in 1992 to mark Canada’s 125th year
- World’s longest recreational trail. When complete, it will stretch 21,500 km from the Atlantic to the Pacific to the Arctic Oceans, linking nearly 1,000 communities and more than 33 million Canadians
